In this class we build a GPS tracker from scratch using the Adafruit Ultimate GPS and the Raspberry Pi pico W. I will teach you the fundamentals of the data coming off the GPS, and how to read the data, and how to properly form the NMEA sentences from the data coming from the GPS. I will then show you how to parse the data, and create usable Latitude and Longitude coordinates. I will teach you how Latitude and longitude work, so you will understand it at a fundamental level.
